Page 8. The Poisoned Blood

Even the dazzling splendor of the Valley of the Four Winds could not deceive the Druids of the Cenarion Circle. Pandaria is suffering, - they felt. The land, affected with corruption, needed healing more than anywhere else. It wasn't easy to make this decision for Selyria Groenveld. Her  small squad left their homeland and went to where they were needed with all their abilities coupled with their perseverance.

Miss Groenveld doubted only in whether to take Zen'Kiki with her. The boy definitely had the potential, but everything he did used to go out of kilter. Perhaps she could send him off to more skilled preceptor. But Selyria didn't wish to let him go away from her. Zen'Kiki seemed to be retarded... defected to everybody. Everybody but Adrine Towhide and her friend Selyria. Both they saw his destiny that was like a sleeping volcano.

    - Not far and not fast. And not...

    - Oh, come on, mon! Zen'Kiki will not fail. Nothing will happen to Zen'Kiki, mon. Zen'Kiki's lizard is tired to drag himself behind the cart.

    - Be careful... Please! Oh... What should I do with you?

    - Set me free, mon. Zen'Kiki will be nearby.

He hit the lizard with his heels. Light clouds of dust rose above the road, but quickly dissipated.

    - This land. It affects him. I'm scared, Adrine.

    -  Do not worry, sis. He grew up strong and mighty. And after all... Who are we to confront the fate?

The night air filled his breast with joy. The road meandered between velvet speckled hills like a snake. Self-satisfied young troll raced forward on the young lizard, overtaking the dreary wagon train, drawn by two bears. Then...

The lizard froze in his tracks. The rider flew out of the saddle. Then he overcame the roadside of the land he came to heal and scratched it with his tusks.

While some small rodent examined the outlandish beast the lizard was thinking about his gastronomic value. Zen'Kiki counted his teeth with tongue. His body ached as one solid bruise. The troll sat up slowly and... then he saw what he didn't expect to see. The woman's face – there, in the point where he hit his head! Zen'Kiki blinked – and the vision disappeared.

    - no... Come back, mon. Don't go away. Oh... Zen'Kiki knows how to take you back!

    - He became even more crazy than before. If it is possible! May be the boy has a gift — but now he's just a burden, Selyria. The poisoned blood of gurubashi.

    - Have a look at what he's doing, my love! The locals won't take us seriously because of this... this walking fuss. He dishonors the Circle.

    - Don't mess with my boy!

Selyria never had a family, except for druids, as well as she had no children... But now she was ready to rip all smirks from elves' smug faces with her claws.

    - He's not your son, Selyria.

This arrogant elf told the obvious things.

    - What do you know about it? He is welcoming the land! This is the ancient custom of his tribe. Anyway. Your cart is not going to draw itself while you're waging your tongues.

    - All right, all right. Just do something with him.

Selyria sighed heavily. Adrine Towhide gently patted her friend on the back.

    - Do you believe in what YOU said?

    - I don't – but is this important? I won't let them laugh at our boy. Do something. You're good to calm him down.

At the same time Zen'Kiki was banging his head on the mound selflessly, hoping to see the pandaren woman's outlines once again. The procedure looked ridiculous and almost comical from the outside.

    - Stop that, please. You're scaring Selyria and me.

Zen'Kiki drew himeself up to his full height with pleasure and straightened his shoulders.  He saw confusion and anxiety in Adrine's eyes. And it was not surprising at all. She didn't see what he saw.

    - Take the lizard and go to the cart. The village is not far from here. The bed and hot meals are waiting for us behind these hills.

He didn't reply. Adrine didn't ask questions. Stupid smile on Zen'Kiki's face could confuse anyone. But the young troll knew: there's a woman somewhere, the woman that needs his help and support. The woman he will find.

From the way this is drawn, its like you took screenshots then redrew them to make them more expressive.
